Finally Something Funny on Jimmy Fallon
Well, it’s popular to hate on Jimmy, and frankly, it’s been pretty warranted. The show clearly still needs to work out a lot of kinks. I think mostly those kinks stem from the fact that half the writers have absolutely no credits on IMDB. Seriously, look them up. Otherwise, I would attribute it to the fact that it’s a new show. Nobody liked Conan at all when he started, for years. And now he’s the golden boy of late night television. But, I was quite shocked when I saw this desk piece of Fallon’s. It’s funny.
Somebody actually came up with a funny idea, and despite the fact that the song “Let’s Get Physical” was already so well used on The Office, I was willing to forgive that because the bit was amusing. Judge for yourself:
Clearly, it goes on too long, as does most everything on the show, but you have to admit it’s got something to it.
