Catching Up on “The Olds”

Two things can be learned from this website’s readership lately: a) People prefer depressing news with silly things to depressing news without silly things. b) People will not reread old news, or “the olds.”
That’s from The Ricky Gervais Show podcast, which just came out with a new sample of their next series of audiobooks. Click here for a listen. I haven’t heard it yet, but I assume Karl Pilkington says something stupid, Ricky shrieks in laughter, and that’s about it really. Seriously though, it is riveting to hear a man with a head like an orange suggest that the human race will evolve to be so ugly that it will die out because nobody wants to have sex with each other.
Here’s an old clip in which Karl also provides some insight into why you never see any 35 year old Chinese people: because they age overnight, like a pear.
