A YouTube Video for You Hep Cats

2010 May 30

Hep cats is an old term for “cool kids,” or “neatos” as I call them. This is a video some 750,000 people have already seen before, but you know what, they’re the cool ones, they’re not the ones reading this. It’s this little kid who covers songs in the middle of the Apple Store. Don’t worry, it’s the real deal. As he puts it in the description: “it not green screen.” This is his rendition of The Black Eyed Peas song “I’ve Got a Feeling,” which, supposedly, according to my resources, is also something cool people like.*

I wonder why none of the Apple Store employees tell him “Hey, you need to buy a computer to make crappy YouTube videos. You can’t just come in here and do it for free. This is America!” Probably because they all secretly vlog from the computers when the store shuts down.

I’m sorry if this isn’t up your alley, I’m still getting in the swing of internet again. Things are gonna be shitty for a while, then they’ll get good, then they’ll get even shittier. Like a party, or Mexican food. Or a Mexican food party.

*If you are a cool person, can you please confirm or deny this statement? I actually have no sources.

No. no cool people like that song. Although I’m not cool, so my disliking it could mean very little.
But hahaha 2:24
