Catching Up on The Olds: Vatican Scientists Believe in Aliens, Not Science
This is old news, but I just stumbled across it:
The chief astronomer of the Vatican said intelligent beings created by God could exist in outer space. This news comes just a week after the chief astronomer said he had found god in his telescope before realizing he was actually looking through a kaleidoscope.
The Vatican has also said that the search for extraterrestrial life does not contradict belief in god, and aliens could even be free of original sin. This has led many to push for the addition of a new testament in the bible: The Day The Earth Stood Still.
In order to strengthen its scientific credentials, the Vatican is organizing a conference next year to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin. The Vatican is hoping that by next year their chief astronomer will be able to invent a time machine, go back 200 years, and kill Charles Darwin before he was ever born.
