Something’s in the Works
Yet again, I’m apologizing to the internet for not updating anything here, but what does it matter? Nobody reads any of this anyway. I’m writing to an empty room, so it’s fine. I’ll do what I want. The voices in my head can complain all they want. Anyway, I’m going to pretend that the lack of updates has to do with an upcoming project, that will most likely be available on the internet shortly, in the form of webisodes. That’s right, webisodes. Spell check doesn’t believe me when I assure it that word does exist.
I’m meeting with some actors over the next few days to discuss the project, and am definitely looking forward to shooting it. The title, which I know you’re all desperate to hear, is still a little up in the air, but most likely something along the lines of: College Cooking 101. The three-part web series will focus on two room mates who decide to create and host their own cooking show for college students, and their desperate struggle to get it picked up by a network.
If that sounds good, you’ll be able to watch the show here as soon as it’s done. And if it doesn’t sound good, it doesn’t matter because I’m doing it anyway.
Keep checking here regularly for updates on the progress of the show, and if you have any thoughts/comments feel free to post them below. And, let me preempt the majority of your questions by saying: no, it will be nothing like Cooking with Coolio. And, Dad, please don’t write here to complain about the fact that this is how your money on my education is spent.
Also, you can expect another film review tomorrow, but I won’t spoil it by telling you which film. You’ll just have to check back to see it. If you haven’t read any film reviews of mine yet, you should probably check out the Colby Day Film Review of Casablanca.
