Good Trailer vs. Bad Trailer: 500 Days of Summer

So, I’m excited about this movie, not because it has any buzz or praise from Sundance or whatever (because it does), but because I’m a fourteen year old girl who likes quirky indie love stories. Also, I was very pleased by its first trailer with the crazy-inspired choice of Leslie Nielsen as narrator and it’s weird Godard feel. However, they’ve just released a new trailer which is lame and stupid and totally whatever. You can check them both out below.

PS. I was right. The 500 Days of Summer website says the original teaser was inspired by Godard’s trailer for Contempt:

There’s probably a translated version somewhere, but if you don’t already speak French then clearly you know nothing about cinema.
